A very important place in our being, our homes deserve all the love and care we can give. Like a nest birds, our homes are where our parents nurtured and cared for us until it is time for us to fly. Structurally, the Windows are one of the most important parts of our homes, however, one of the most taken for granted in terms of design. In addition to providing light and air throughout the house, windows are also considered major structures in terms of size and serve as pauses and accents that enliven the walls of otherwise normal. Therefore not surprising to know that our windows affect the designs of our homes "significantly, and if treated properly, can dramatically change and improve our living space.

There are many ways to embellish the windows. One of the most traditional and widely used method is to use curtains and furniture and details to make the best of them. However, it is important to know that the practice is not always done correctly. Some of the most common errors committed by seeking to improve their homes using this application are filling the windows with too many things, not the right colors that match the rest of the house and hanging curtains and drapes that only people the breathing room.

In order to properly accentuate the windows, there are three rules to follow to achieve maximum effect. And it starts with knowing what you want. Would you like to open windows of the room and make it look bigger or do you want to make the room a little warmer? Have a definite goal and concrete design in your head would do everything easier for you.

Then, choose your color. Obviously, if you go for the larger effect, opt for light and semi-neutral colors like light blue, cream and beige. However, you should consider other colors within the room to make sure they do not rub. Obviously this is a huge blunder to use blue for your window panes, when the rest of the room covers in warm tones. Using a color wheel is ideal for this part. For curtains, if you go for the effect cooler or warmer, it is ideal to use lighter shades and materials. This allows breathing space and air circulation, and do not block the natural light entering the room.

Carpets also play an important role. Choose rugs that match the floor and not clash with the color used for the window, otherwise you may get all the attention to himself and away from windows and surrounding areas.

Last but not least is the structure. If you plan to put a table near the window decorations, it is advisable not to exceed to move a lot things on top. It is very important to limit the things that concern only about fifty percent of the surface of the table. If possible, choose to place a vase plants alive in space. If done correctly, this adds life and a sense of freshness and class to any room in your home.
