So I thought that anything that was made of wool was the wool? But tweed and Kashmir are made of wool. Why have different names? Same with cheap cotton muslin, which is made of cotton. Same with breadfruit, which can be made from velvet, wool, cotton? Silk organza? Is it the way they are woven to make the names? Please explain?

Tweed is a pattern, while cashmere is a type of wool. Muslin is a plain weave. Ginghan refers to the test pattern. Pana only refers to the Wales raised. Names are only ways to be more specific as you can say you made a crab salad or you can say I made the crab in Alaska. Both are true but the second is more specific and add value. There are wool and cashmere sweaters wool sweaters. More specific = value.
